Making the economic case for heritage

Heritage Saskatchewan and the Museums Association of Saskatchewan are demonstrating the economic impact of the heritage sector in the province. Those of us in the sector know the importance of heritage to the economic well-being of communities around Saskatchewan and now we need to communicate that value to those outside the sector, including funders and policy makers. With additional resources we create more jobs through heritage business activity and help the provincial economy grow. Measuring this impact positions us to advocate for increased support for the heritage sector.
