Governor General's History Award for Excellence in Museums: History Alive! Call for Applications The Governor General's History Award for Excellence in Museums: History Alive! recognizes excellence and innovation in the public programming of museums and related heritage institutions. The Award also honours significant achievements in the historical field and encourages standards of excellence specifically in the presentation, preservation and interpretation of national, regional and local history. The nomination form and evaluation criteria are available on the CMA website and the Canada's History Society website. Application deadline: September 14, 2012.
