Regina, SK – Heritage Saskatchewan is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2026 Lieutenant Governor’s Heritage Awards. The award presentations will take place at Government House in Regina, on June 24th, starting at 5pm. Her Honour the Honourable Bernadette McIntyre, Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan and Heritage Saskatchewan’s honorary patron, will present the awards.
The Heritage Awards celebrate the ongoing and significant work that people in Saskatchewan do to safeguard our heritage. Throughout Saskatchewan, those who volunteer and work in the heritage sector inspire all of us in their dedication to contributing to the vitality of their communities. This year’s recipients can be added to that list of those who see value in safeguarding cultural heritage whether that be through the conservation of special places or safeguarding stories, traditions, and ways of living for both the present and future generations.
