New Projects Supported

Jun 23, 2015

Through the Saskatchewan Heritage Foundation, the Government of Saskatchewan is investing nearly $250,000 in 32 heritage conservation projects across the province. “History is an irreplaceable thing and we must do all we can to preserve it,” Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Mark Docherty said.  “The grants offered through the Saskatchewan Heritage Foundation allow people to conserve the historic sites and buildings which have helped shape our province into the wonderful place it is today.” This year’s grant recipients span Saskatchewan and include projects such as the Gravelbourg Court House, the Melfort Post Office, Star City Library and Regina’s St. Matthew’s Anglican Church.
