Nature Conservancy Canada announces important habitat protected in SK

1,750 acres of key habitats for endangered species are now conserved. Properties secured in Saskatchewan through the Government of Canada's Natural Areas Conservation Program partnership with the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) include the Buffalo Valley 2 property northeast of Swift Current (near Beechy), Edenwold Complex, slightly east of Regina, Fairy Hill South 3, slightly north of Regina, the Mortlach property, west of Moose Jaw and Upper Whitesand 2, northwest of Yorkton.
