Heritage Saskatchewan Board meets in Saskatoon
Apr 14, 2014
The Board of Directors of Heritage Saskatchewan met over the weekend for its annual orientation session followed by the first full board meeting of the new term. The day-long meeting provided a review of the workings of the organization as well as a detailed introduction to Policy Governance presented by Peer consultant Linda Fast.
“It is a good opportunity for new board members to learn about Policy Governance and for returning Directors to add to their understanding of the governance process,” said incoming President Jack Walton. “Linda has a passion for Policy Governance and we are grateful for her contribution to the annual workshop.”
Board business included the first steps in forming board committees for the coming year as well as establishing monitoring processes for Board policies.
The next Heritage Saskatchewan board meeting is scheduled for June 13 and 14 in Regina.
