Digital Storytelling

Jun 11, 2014

Canada’s History runs a program called Young Citizens where students from grades 4-8 create videos about the topic of their Heritage Fairs project. This year, Heritage Saskatchewan participated as a pilot project with one classroom. Six grade 5 students from St. Marguerite Bourgeoys School in Regina participated. The students were given with a digital camera to record interviews, locations, etc. Beginning June 17 to July 11, 2014, the videos will be available online and voting from members of the public will be open. On June 17 you may view these amazing videos  and vote for your favourites. Winners are treated to a trip to Ottawa in the fall. Voting closes July 11.
