Heritage Saskatchewan and Museums Association of Saskatchewan have written a letter which we have sent to the parties, leaders and Saskatchewan candidates of major parties.
We hope this information will be useful and that readers will recognise the important role that our collective heritage has in shaping our identity as individuals and our vibrant communities.
You can read the letter here: Our Shared Heritage: A Cornerstone of Identity and Resilience
We will be following up with the parties in the near future. Follow our newsletter for other ways to contribute to the discussion and case we're making for the economic importance of heritage.
This letter was based on writing by Heritage Saskatchewan staff, published earlier this month and a briefing note sent our during the 2024 provincial election.
