Heritage Saskatchewan is pleased to announce the recipients of this year’s Heritage Awards. Her Honour, the Lieutenant Governor Vaughn Solomon Schofield, will present the awards at Government House on June 14, 2017 at 5:30 pm.
 
Architectural Conservation

  • City of Regina Old #1 Fire Hall Conservation Project, nominated by City of Regina
  • Saskatchewan Legislative Building Dome Conservation Project, nominated by PCL Construction Management Inc.        and by the Ministry of Central Services

Architectural Rehabilitation

  • Broadway Theatre Lobby Renewal Project, Saskatoon - nominated by Kindrachuk Agrey Architecture
  • Rex Café Buildings, Façade Rehabilitation - nominated by the Town of Maple Creek
  • Sherwood Department Store Heritage Restoration, Regina – nominated by Mitchell Architect Limited

Education, Heritage Events & Publishing

  • Cultural Trailway Walking Tour, Regina – nominated by Regina Downtown Business Improvement District and by Heritage Regina
  • The Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo: A Photographic History – nominated by Friends of the Forestry Farm House
  • On Safari Tour Guide and Colouring Book – nominated by Saskatoon Heritage Society
