Title: Legacy of Carrie Best

Student: Najma Elhasade

School: Wildwood School (Saskatoon)

Grade: 5

This project is about a BIPOC hero (Black Indigenous Person of Color). I chose Carrie Best. I chose Carrie Best because she wanted to treat everyone equally and so do I. Why she is outstanding is because she went to a movie theatre and the ushers told her she could not sit there, but Carrie Best did not want to move, so she argued with the ushers, and ended up getting arrested.

Project Contains: Video; Paper

Category: 4 - Video Presentation
