Big Bert Travelling Exhibit Opening at Saskatoon WDM

Bert, on loan from the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, will remain on display through April 2015. This fossil is the world’s most complete Terminonaris robusta crocodile skeleton measuring approximately 5.6 m (19 feet) long; its skull alone more than 1 m long.

In celebration of Saskatchewan Archives Week 2015, the Lloydminster Regional Archives will be displaying historic photographs in the foyer of the Lloydminster City Hall for the month of February. The images will be of a variety of subjects pertaining to the community; agriculture; the oil industry, schools, street scenes, sport teams and figures, as well as aerial photos of the community. Call for Proposals – Community Memories Program

We’re inviting small community museums to develop online local history exhibits to share with all Canadians through the Virtual Museum of Canada (VMC). To be eligible, your museum must be a not-for profit organization, be an institution with no more than five permanent full-time paid staff, and have completed, if applicable, any previous exhibit financed by the VMC.
